We helped the brilliant and talented design duo of Merle Linby-Young and Julie Cohn launch their new Web site at the end of last year.  The project was refreshing because it was the first time I worked with visual designers from an area outside of Web or print.   Design2 ‘s principals have done textile design, surface design and art installations, so their work can be seen on walls, carpets, materials (like drapes) and locally in Dallas at the Union Station DART rail stop.

Besides showcasing some truly beautiful work, the site was able to realize an ROI in 28 days thanks to leverage W3MG’s Web Site Management System and savvy permission marketing.  Congratulations Design2.

In 2009 Chameleon Marketing Concepts called on W3MG to help launch TaleBait.com, a theme-based site for writers to build stories in a collaborative, social networking environment.

The site features a refereed story area where editors throw out some “bait” in the form of the opening line to a story.  Registered members on the site (registration is free) can submit their contributions which their peers then vote on.  The result is a unique tale.

In the ‘Open Water’ area, writers can write their own stories and invite feedback from the community.

The site is live and tales are growing.  Check it out.

W3MG helped long-time client and acclaimed landscape architecture firm David Rolston Landscape Architects launched a new plant library on their DallasGardens.com Web site.  The new plant library let’s Dave and staff show people a range of great plants that do well and enhance beauty.   The site also features some great photography of the firm’s by  landscape architect Wendy Meyer.  Check it out.

Nationally recognized firm David Rolston Landscape Architects once again called on W3MG and longtime strategic partner Valiant Media to deliver a new site.  The redesigned DallasGardens.com emphasizes clean layout and a focus on the firm’s outstanding work.

To realize the creative vision for the site, we used W3MG’s simple Web site management system – a content management system that offers even non-technical people easy access.   The site also leverages Amazon’s EC2. W3MG also developed online visibility to ensure a steady stream of new clients from the Web.
